Baby yes, Baby no?
At this point who knows? This whole journey is stressful and heartbreaking. Yesterday I went back in to my OB to talk about options now that she was able to see my past medical records. She said we will need to do a “Dye Test” (KGE) to see if my tubes are open, and that you need to do that between Cycle day 7-10. Well that was told to me on day 9 so we were OMG! Can we get in tomorrow so we can get this done before I have to wait a whole other cycle. And Thank goodness the nurse there was able to get me in. At 8:30 this morning I was in the waiting room, doing just that. About 9am I was walked back to the radiology waiting room and about 4 mins after that walked back to room. The nurses in there were sweet and explained what was going to happen and that it might be painful, but nothing more that very painful cramps. Well let me just say I’m not feeling 100% it wasn’t the WORST pain ever but it by far wasn’t a walk in the park either. The Dr. said that my right tube was open and that’s good but that he didn’t see a left side at all….. umm what!? I was told on the 5th that my right side was the side with the rudimentary horn. So let me get this straight the “bad” side is the only “working” side!? UGH! Does this nightmare never end? I am keeping my fingers crossed that there was a mix up and that the left side is the “bad” side and that I will still be able to get pregnant. I just feel so defeated right now, and I have a horrible head ache and major cramps on, go figure the left side!?
Let’s just pretend that the bad side is in fact the left side and that my right side is wonderful. That means on my next cycle I will start the “Clomid Challenge Test” which means I will start on day one and call the nurse and tell her its my cycle day 1. On day 3 I will go in for blood work, then on day 5 I will take two pills of clomid (cue crazy hormones) once a day for the next 5 days (to day 9) then on day 10 they will have me in to do more blood work, and then days 11-14 are sexy time, then I will go back again for MORE blood work on day 21 I believe. And that ladies and gents is just round 1.
I know this post is all over the place but you know what, it’s MY blog and I can do what I want. I just needed to get this out there so I’m not just at my desk crying over this huge unknown mess. Prayers are for sure needed.
On a happier note my good friend Candice should have baby “M” any day now. Lets hope for today J even tho her due date is tomorrow.
Until next time…..

Emotional TVD Rollercoaster
I am not ashamed to say I have a slight obsession with a little show called “The Vampire Diaries” and when I say slight I *might* mean huge. Ok yes I am a tween girl who geeks out over this show. As in watch parties and no talking when my show is on or death becomes you. If there was a TVD Anonymous I would probably need to go. That being said I am not alone in this addiction. So I am in good company.
I remember when I worked at Gateway, and I used to listen to shows to block out the back ground noise and would get all my insuring done for the day, it kind of became my thing and it was ok because I did in fact get all my work done with this method. Umm.. Getting paid to watch Netflix sign me up! (Sadly I no longer work there, another story for another time) Anyhow, I saw the first season on Netflix and I was just dead set to NOT watch this show, I had seen the previews and I just decided it was NOT for me, I wasn’t going to do it. Fast forward to season two being added and running out of shows… I gave it a try. And this my friends is how this started. The first season was slow, but I wasn’t really watching it at this point just listening, come season two I had a hard time just listening. So I started watching at home and then I was caught up to the live show and Thursday could not get here soon enough. What happened to the “I am not going to watch this girl” well she fell in love with Damon, and then Klaus, and she adores Jeremy and Caroline. The “not going to watch girl” is now the “I can’t NOT watch this show girl”.
About a year after I became super hooked to this show, I stumbled across a website called “Mystic Falls Tours”! I mean all my favorite vampires live there. So I talked (begged) my husband and we made a plan! J Keep in mind this is in Covington, GA and we live in the Tulsa area. Not the shortest drive in the world. We also threw in some Ducky Dynasty and Walking Dead stops. Over all it was a super fun experience with wonderful people. And I plan on revisiting within the next year. (when they open the REAL Mystic Grill) We didn’t get to see filming like some lucky visitors do but it was still so cool to see where all the filming has taken place and see these places I have loved from my couch.
About the same time I found the tour, which we did in March of 2013 I also found a Convention. It is the first time Creation Entertainment has had a Dallas stop, and it pretty much guaranteed us to see the actors in real life. So I called my friend Michael (I can generally get him to get on board things my husband won’t do) and we also bought our tickets for that. It has been over a year of waiting to go to this Convention and I have since added my Friend Carissa and my Darling Husband.
It is now currently THREE DAYS away! And talk about emotions running wild. Paul Wesley dropped out last night and today Michael Trevino has backed out. And they have replacements but they are such small characters it’s just not even in the same playing field. And what’s worse is the ones that have backed out are ones we bought the Photo Ops for. Now we have to trade them in for ones we don’t really want. I mean who doesn’t want the Duo Photo with Paul and Ian. Well I sure did and now that’s gone, and then we also had the Michael and Steven Group pic is messed up too. I am trying to stay positive. I still get to go, I still have Monday off work, I still get to dress up and I Fo SHO still get to meet/see Ian. Swoon. I know it will be a great weekend I just wish people would add on not drop off. Especially just a few days before the event don’t they know how excited we are? A lot of people have paid a lot of money and a lot of people are heart broken. I am sad about the drop outs yes but I KNOW we will still have a blast and it will still be such great memories to have for my first convention.
Carissa and I also are using Rent the Runway for our dresses to wear for the convention, so I will write about that experience when we return Monday evening along with the convention.
Tonight we are going to get our nails done and tomorrow I am getting my hair done. (it needs it really bad) To bad I can’t drop like 30lbs between now and Friday hahah. Here’s to hopeful thinking that no one else will drop out and that there will be surprises while we are there.
Crazy Love for Bruno Mars!
I know this sounds somewhat crazy, and what can I say I have some crazy ways about me, but Bruno Mars is “Little Michael” to me. As in the closest thing I will ever get to actually seeing MJ. I was so super excited when he was about to tour again I just KNEW he was going to some to Tulsa or at LEAST Oklahoma, but sadly no he passed and yes I cried. Anyhow back to Bruno! I love him. He is so funny and can dance and his songs are just pure awesomeness. I have my wonderful friend Emily to thank for letting me borrow his first CD and I was hooked. So when we found out he was coming to OKC this year, I was on top of it. Sadly my on top of it was a bad seat selection and then sold out. I am super afraid of heights so as Emily likes to say “I am a concert snob” So we were unable to get tickets this go round. So after months and months of waiting we FINALLY found some online for well let’s just be honest way more than someone should have to pay for not front row floor seats (how DO people get those seats by the way if you have some inside on that please let me know), but they were GOOD seats and I was so super excited to go! I mean talk about a concert being over before it began it seemed like. He put on such a great show! And I have my wonderful husband to thank for these amazing memories. He is so good to me. The ONE song I really wanted him to sing live was Gorilla. But he didn’t we think it may have been a little to risqué for OKC. But he DID sing my other Favorite song of his and it was just awesome. If you like him I highly recommend going to see him live, his whole band is so fun and they all dance together and it just really looks like they have a blast on stage which makes it all that much more enjoyable. I will leave you with a few of my favorite pictures from our super fun night! JUntil next time… XOXO
