Move Live on Tour

If you haven't seen this show and you enjoy dancing at all this is a MUST see! Amazing AMAZING show! I was so excited when I talked my husband into taking me to see this, I even said we don't have to get VIP or anything because I just want to go. I am so so so SO glad we did. I enjoyed every minuet of it. I am one of those people that, when I get too excited or happy about something I tend to cry, well I had tears within the first few minuets of this show! I was so freaking pumped to be there. We were on the floor at the Brady but we were the very last row, center. Wasn't a bad view at all (other than super tall lady right in front of me). This dynamic duo was just fantastic, they of course danced and sang and were so funny. The energy in the room was so crazy. I can just go on and on about the show, I mean when I was telling a girl at work about it I started tearing up. I made a side ways joke to Robb about how I wished we HAD gotten the VIP tickets because (at least to me) they would have been worth every penny. To my surprise  he didn't just flat out say no, so I started looking, knowing that almost every show was sold out or there was no way we would be able to get there and back on a work night. I looked anyway, and looked at every NOT sold out show date, I was actually able to find two shows that had some VIP tickets left, I then send Robb a flood of texts about it and if he thinks we could or should do it ect.. He said he wouldn't be upset if I really wanted to go *that* bad. I did however have to use MY saving for it. I had been working SO hard to get that built up, so I went back and forth for awhile, even called him to talk about it, ( he said I had spent way more on other items, ahem TVD Con but that was so spread out and this is all at once) and that was pretty much it for me. So I went ahead and purchased Tickets! I thought I would feel sick afterwards but I got this HUGE flood of excitement and had so many OMG's going through my head, so when I wasn't even sad about the money I  had just spent I knew that I had made the right decision, at least for me. So in 43 days we will be going to the July 12th show in Sioux City, IA. I am so excited. I got us the Ultimate VIP package, and Robb is even excited about it now (so he says).

See those two dark grey dots I'm pointing at? THOSE ARE OUR SEATS!!! 4th row! I don't think I have ever been so close for a show I actually REALLY REALLY care about and look what all we will get with this ticket package:

ULTIMATE VIP PACKAGE

  • One reserved ticket in the first 10 rows
  • Q&A with Julianne and Derek Hough
  • Individual Photo Op OR Selfie with Julianne and Derek Hough
  • Backstage Tour
  • Autographed program
  • VIP Laminate
  • Crowd-free merchandise shopping
  • On-site VIP host

Is your jaw just on the floor? Now I did buy a shirt, Program and Magnet while we were at this last show, I was so unaware that we were going to another show of theirs or that it was even an option so we won't be doing any " Crowd-free merch Shopping" but we will get to take a Picture WITH them and get their Autograph!!!! I mean shut the front door! PLUS a Q&A AHHH!!! Have I told you how freaking excited I am? Because Woah!

So back to the show from last night, Robb didn't exactly have the camera charged up so it died during the show (he has assured me that will not happen in July!) and we were in the back so he had to use his super zoom lens, but I wanted to share my favorites of what we(he) did get picture wise.

    How freaking cute are they!?

    Umm Woah! He pretty.

    Booty! This was pretty funny.

I will do my best to record this sketch because so funny! I think it was my Favorite from all they did last night.

This is the end of their show a dance to Great Balls of Fire. It was one of the first ones they ever did together on Dancing with the Stars.

Here is a sneak peak of one of Derek's performances. The quality on my little "cell phone video" does NOT do it justice AT ALL.

And here is one of Julianne, this girl has some moves. I wish I was able to move my body like she does. I will say this has put the motivation back in me to get into better shape.  Ohh yes I DID get back on the treadmill tonight for 30 mins and I even ran 2 of those mins straight. That might not sound like much to you but its a LOT to me.

My after "work-out" pic with my new shirt!

Until next time, which may be tomorrow.... Good night readers
    XOXO

    Mystic Falls a/k/a Covington, GA

As said in the post below, we recently went to tour the filming locations for the shows The Vampire Diaries and The Originals. Quite the road trip in a 3 day span and it was worth it. The boys did all the driving, so I just got to sit back and enjoy the ride. I have been trying to so this post for a while now, and no matter what ideas I seem to come up with on how to go about showing you what all we saw while we were there its just not coming together right. At the end of the trip we looked for a lot of The Walking Dead locations and that post is in here somewhere but this one I wanted to be about the tour. I think the easiest way for me to do this will be to add the pictures I liked best and then talk about them under each picture. If you wanted to take a tour of your own I highly recommend using Vampire Stalkers with Jessica. here is the link to her site: http://www.mysticfallstours.com/ The first time we toured we were with Jessica and Travis and this last time Chloe Dawn, both times were fantastic. (Note the second time we didn't take as many pictures of the homes because we already had them from our first TVD tour. So I will have some from last year on here as well)

Robb and I in front of "The Lockwood Mansion" in April '14, we weren't able to go all over the property as we were last year because they had just had the grass fertilized and it was very wet. We still got to SEE all the same places.
This is us with the Mansion in March of last year, we were able to get on the grass this go round and take a picture on the fountain. We were also allowed to walk around the pond and sit on the benches that have had several scenes take place at such as the Klaus and Caroline date.
Robb and I on said bench. I ship them so I was pretty excited to get to do this. Even if this inst the best picture of us I still like the meaning behind it to me at least.

In front of Elena's Home with the Tour Guide Chloe. The first time we were here this home was for sale, this most recent time we got to speak with the new owner. He said he bought this home for his wife because she was a huge fan of the show. He also tweeted about us being on tour at his house that day.
Yes I am a dork, I thought it was fun that he did that.

This is from The Originals set, I believe this is the entrance to Marcel's compound. As you can tell we planned for warm weather and we ended up freezing, thank goodness I had this blanket in the backseat to use. We also forgout about the time change so after driving all night we went straight onto the tour, as in pulled up and it was time to go.

This is the Voodoo Shop for The Originals, and this is an actual set, they use and film at, apparently its only opened up every now and then so we were told it smells pretty bad inside.

Doesn't this look just like New Orleans? This area has been used for both shows.

This is an alley way used for several scenes one in particular is when Rebeka was upset with Tearier about leaving her to be used by the witches who were after Klaus.

The Court house, this has been in several TV shows and movies. Kathrine stood at the top of the top and jumped off only to be caught by Stefan. The alley to the right is where Lexi was Killed and where Caroline was kidnapped by the Werewolves. LOTS of things have happened in this area.

From last year as well. Leah and I just had to get a pic with Ian's "star" its neat in downtown Covington they have these "stars" all over the walk way from all the movies and TV shows that have been filmed here. I have heard rumors that the Vampire Stalkers will eventually have a "Holloywood Tour" and show off all the other filming locations from Sweet Home Alabama to Footloose (newer one).

Again a few from last year as we didnt take many pics of them this year. This is Gram's house. Its for sale and its BEAUTIFUL. I keep asking Robb if we can move here but he says no. This house has SO much charm on the inside and nice back yard. Plus look at that porch. LOVE IT.

    This is Bonnie's home.

Caroline s home. Which is across the street from Elena's house.

All of us from last year on the porch of Elena's house.

Robb will kill me for this one, but he LOVES Rebeka so I had to make him take a picture with her cut out while we were in the Store. This is also fairly new and they have done a great job with it. So many items even The Walking Dead has some items in their store. and TONS of cut outs and they have a Wall where almost everyone has signed it. Very cool, even if you don't take a tour you should visit this place.
See signed wall. they have one for The Originals as well but we didn't get a shot of that one. Plus it mostly films in Conyers so they said they aren't in this area as much as the TVD stars are.

Leah and I took this picture last year but I like this one better. I didn't have him re-enact it or anything but you get the point from the screen shot above.

On the way back home our little group. We had a blast, Kyle included because we added all The Walking Dead stops. This is a good group to road trip with!

I grabbed the coffee cup from this trip as well. The water tumbler is from the convention last year.

Speaking of convention, Carissa and I are going just us this year. We of course went gold again, thinking with it being a 3 day event this time we would have way more guests. Sadly we have less than last year and none of the ladies except "Lexi" so it end up being 3 actors a day, I am not sure how they will fill in the time with so few people. But I plan to try and make the most of it. They also upped the price to a lot of the photo ops. Luckily I had already purchased most of the ones I wanted to get. I am a bit hesitant to purchase anything else right now. I am a bit upset they are doing Dallas this way when all the other still have "many more to come" it seems to me that they wont have a convention for TVD in Dallas next year, and even if they do, we are not currently planning on going. So that's why I am trying to keep my head up about this one, I know we will have a blast again, and I mean getting to touch Ian alone is worth the drive, I just really think they should cut it back down to 2 days. Save us a night at the hotel. Anyhow that is coming up in about 82 days, so its getting a lot closer. Man I need to get on the ball of losing some of this winter weight!

Ohh we also had a super fun watch party for the Season 5 Finale. Carissa and Leah came over, we all wore TVD shirts, ate pizza and loved every minute of it. Carissa and I have even watched it a few more times since then. I am in the process of getting Robb caught up as well. He has been sick so all his shows are falling behind. Anyhow here is the only pic we took from our watch party night!

Untill next time!!! Much love to all.

    Mystic Grill

By now if you are following this blog, its no surprise that I am a huge Vampire Diaries Fan. Yes, I realize I am almost 30 and that probably shouldn't be THIS into a "young adult" TV show. Nonetheless its my favorite show on currently. I have several that I truly enjoy watching but this one takes the cake. Now that we have that established for anyone new to this place lets continue....

When I found out that we could tour the filming locations I about came out of my skin with excitement. We went in March of 2013 the first time. Michael, Leah, Robb and I all packed into my then 4 door Altima and made that 13 hour drive one way. That was when we found out the "Mystic Grill" was an attorneys office that had caught fire at the end of season 3 I believe and was going to be turned into the actual grill. Which for a fan of this show is pretty amazing. So at the point Robb promised we would return and eat there once it was all finished.

So this past April when I got the itch to travel, this was the destination. However this time our friend Kyle came with us. Who isn't a fan of the show nor watches it at all. They also had added The Originals tour over in Conyers, GA as well so we took that one in addition to the TVD one. We did the TVD tour alone when we went out last year so it was a lot of fun to have some added locations. This will more than likely be a picture heavy post so I hope you like pictures, I just wanted to get it set up a bit before I started posting them. Picture above was taken by my friend Carissa when she went on the tours for Valentines Day this year as a surprise from her boyfriend. She took some great photos, we are still waiting on her post about her trip to Covington.

These first few pics are from our first trip out, you can see that the cover is missing and things are hanging from the roof.

    Our first little group :)

Here it is in all its glory and open for business. I couldn't wait to eat here.

Sweet Hubby and I standing in front of the building.

    Great shot from Carissa :)

This is the food we had while we were here eating, it was really REALLY good.

Robb and I sitting at a booth near the bar in the Mystic Grill.

This was a neat little wall they had by the restrooms, I ended up buying the Grey and Blue shirts here as well.

This is the roof of the grill, when its NOT freezing and raining they have it open to eat and drink up here.

They actually made a spot just for "Alaric" from the show, and it was in the area where he would always sit as well.

They modeled the bar exactly off the show. It was so pretty in here.

More of the roof top seating.

This was the gift shop below the grill you have to walk down what is known as "stab alley" to get to it. Was a really cute little store.

Robb and I standing outside the gift shop and in "Stab Alley"

I will post more photos we took from the mini vacation but I was most excited about getting to eat here so I figured it deserved its own post.

Small Changes (last one for tonight)

This one will be fast, but I updated my hair as well. I had been growing it out for so long. I was just tired of it, and I am not allowed to do the Purple that I just LOVE at my current job location so I did this. I am very happy with it. I am officially Blonde(ish) and for now I love it! I am also about 6 inches shorter. So much easier to style and blow dry now too!

Here is a Before I got it done. Long and Burnett.

First time I think I have willingly let someone just take a hand full and cut! More came off after this but it was a pretty big start. I had to send a pic of this to Leah and I got back one of her "oh boy" texts which always makes me laugh.

Here is my before and after. Such a HUGE change. But a Good one I think!

This was after the second bleaching treatment. A little more blonde. Its fun I think. What do you think?

We also recently went to see Gavin DeGraw! He was amazing!! here are a few pics I snapped from my phone. It was a fun concert. Sadly Robb started getting sick the day after and he is now currently still sick going on seven days now. He did however FINALLY go see the Dr. yesterday. I just hope he gets better soon, he is SUCH a grouch (mean) when he is sick.

I also bought myself a purple camera that I can use and not feel like an idiot! bring on the conventions and concerts! I am ready!

***I did see that I had posted about my hair already what can I say its a pretty big change and I couldn't remember what all I had you updated on***
