Fun with Silky!

For the last two weekends ( I think) I have gotten to spend some time with my little sister! Which is ALWAYS so nice! We went to have dinner at Ted's where I *made* her have a Blue Margarita and we just talked for hours, mostly about all the fun and not fun we had during our single days and all the trouble we would get into.

Isn't she so pretty! Love my Silky!
After Dinner we opened a rather large bottle of wine and got in the hottub. This seems to be a thing with us and I am so very ok with this.

So much fun!

We were in the hottub for HOURS and then I as I always tend to do when it gets late, I mean it was after 1am, I fell asleep. Thank goodness for my night-owl Hubby. He stayed up and they watched a few episode of supernatural and then he made sure she got home.

Then the following week Leah invited me to this Jamberry party, and I had been invited to several before but I never really gave it a chance. So with her telling me all about it, I decided to give it a try. We went in on an order together and then Robb also bought me a set, we were trying to help her win something from the party as well. I am still actually working on that. So when Friday came around, and I had taken it off as we were to go to NYC to see Central Perk ( we didn't ) We had both gotten our order in the mail. That morning I went to see Gone Girl with Robb and Grandma and then after the movie we went over to Leahs'. Robb Watched Jaxon while we did out nails!
What I ordered!

werk!

and done! we LOVE it, and it was so easy and FUN!
Then we just hung out for awhile until Chris, her hubby got home. Then it was time to go see our second movie of the day and enjoy our Double date!

Us at IHOP still excited about our nails!
I have started this taking a picture with the poster of the scary movie we are going to see, so here we are all about to go see Anabelle! Also I love how Robb and I both have on our new Denver Gear!
I <3 Scary movies!
It has been so fun getting to spend so much time with Leah here lately AND this coming weekend we are going to dinner at the pink house again but this time for a Ghost hunters type of thing! I cannot wait! :)!!! I will try to post after dinner so I am able to remember more details about the night. I might even bring a notepad!

Love Love Love!

10 Year HS Reunion

So a few weekends ago was my reunion. Also during the time of getting our house ready for the new flooring to go down. To help save some money we opted to tear it all our ourselves. I think next time I will vote to just pay the extra. That was a LOT of work! Anyhow Friday night was a school tour, and well lets just not even go into that, followed by a football game... Friday wasn't at all organized in any fashion, it was a total epic fail. We didn't even stay long in fact some of us just left and went to have dinner, which ended up being a lot nicer. and a LOT more fun.
This is the only pic I have from the game
We were joking that Nick was my BF here

Our little rebel group that left
The girls from Bixby HS

So the night ended and I was pretty upset, I didn't have all that high hopes for the night but what I did have was crushed. I had zero intention of partaking in the Saturday night events. So I got up and went to work on the house, and work I did, all the while WITHOUT us having AC. ( that has been fixed now just FYI) So by the time I would have been leaving to go out, I was just getting out of the shower and already sweating. Keep in mind I had several people texting me to go pretty much the entire day. It was Nick ( Jessica's bf) who finally guilt tripped me into going. So I did the best I could and got ready to go out. Poor Robb, he was such a sport about going to. Saturday night wasn't as bad as Friday night and I am glad I ended up going. We stayed till just after midnight and then went over to Boots and Diamonds to meet back up with some of the class that had left way sooner. Just as last call was announced we called it a night and we all headed home.

Our attempt at a "Class Picture"

I did get to see several people who are not pictured in any of these but that's ok with me as I am sure it's ok with them. Then Sunday we had dinner at Jessica's, she makes the BEST Burgers, only to be disrupted by the Lowe's deliver man calling to deliver all our supplies as the install was to start Monday. Man what a BUSY weekend this was.  Here's to the next 10 years!

XOXO

New Floors!!!

Hello! Its me again. Long time no "talk". I know, I am such the slacker. A lot at least to me has been going on and I just haven't had the time on top of really being ABLE to get to my computer!

Exhibit A My Office.
I probably should have been taking notes during this 4 day process, because it was quite the mess and took longer than it should have. However the guys who did the install were very nice so it was hard to be too upset. And I still got the end result I wanted to have. Which is of course new floors. And boy do we LOVE it. I mean at least I know I do. Here are some of the pictures of the process.

This is the "before" and yes we know it looks tacky with the blankets but with 6 dogs what are you going to do?

Me telling Robb to get to work, we had a full day of tear out to get done this weekend ( on top of my 10 yr HS Reunion)

Beginning of getting up the stupid tac Strips

I did them ALL. Don't let Robb fool you.

All the carpet out

All the padding out.

This is all the dirt UNDER said carpet and padding. So GROSS!!

Getting our supplies delivered.

Moved them into the house.

Progress!!! Finally

And DONE and put back together!

So glad we got this all done. I am no longer embarrassed of that nasty carpet. We do have to sweep a LOT but it is so worth it and in the long run I think it will help Robb with all his allergies and what not.

Happy day!

Guys it's HOT!!!

We have officially been with our air conditioning for a week now. I think in some sick way my husband thinks it’s funny to watch mom and I suffer. It’s hot! Like thick air, carpet feels wet; kitchen floor won’t dry after it’s mopped hot. Robb insists that he can fix it but it’s been a one part at a time type of “I can fix this” attitude. He will ‘google’ and think this part must be it, order it, wait, get the part, try it out, works for 10 minutes then stops, so let’s order a different part and try that.  I have officially had enough. If this last part that we are currently waiting on to get here doesn’t 100% FIX this, then we are calling an actual repair man.

This is what I am calling our "Redneck AC"
This is the temp IN THE HOUSE with 6 dogs. No Bueno

What makes it worse it my 10 year reunion istomorrow night and it’s just too hot to even get ready. I can’t blow dry my hair and curl it because I would die. It’s just too hot to do so. I mean I CAN but come on you know how it is as girls, doing your make up while sweating just isn’t pretty. Seems like I will have to go over to grandmas to get ready in the morning, I can do my make up at work on my lunch break but I will need to already have my hair done. Speaking of hair, I changed it again. Its short and I have bangs now. When I say bangs I mean hello BANGS! Like woah, I don’t HATE it but it’s very different for me. I’m still trying to get used to it. I will say my new color is AWESOME, I do love it. I took out the teal and replaced it with “eggplant purple” so I have red, purple and a dark brown. It’s on point.  I have only been able to wear it down one day this week with it being so hot at home. Tomorrow I should be able to get a few more pictures of it fixed and down.

Only pic I have of my new hair currently

I really am not looking forward to the reunion at all. No one spoke up other than the dummies of our class and they all would rather spend money on beer than a nice get together. It’s just been such a mess. Annoying really, so the “reunion” is mostly just a football game with a tour of the school? I’m not really sure why that is a thing, I mean we were there for 4 years and its changed so much in the last 10 years, so it won’t even be the same as we last remembered it.  Plus it seems that some of the class is just stuck being 18 they all want to do it a bon fire and a kegger out on a piece of land. I highly doubt I will be attending that after the game. Then we will have a family day thing at a splash pad, again not going, followed by a “meet up” at Bakers Street Pub. I am still ify on that one. I mostly just want to see Lizzi, I pretty much keep in contact with all the people I want to from high school. I don’t know, I just had much higher hopes for this and it’s become something so dumb because only *those* type of people were commenting. I guess we will see how it goes. I know Robb isn’t looking forward to going either.

Lastly, The Friends pop up “Central Perk” Coffee shop opened yesterday; it looks to have been a huge success. Sadly it only runs till October 18th and we will not be going to NYC until the 23rd. So we are JUST missing it.  we had talking about just flying out over a weekend to see it before our actual big trip but out stupid flight benefits were cut down from 24 to 8! EIGHT, that’s not even half, So in order to be able to fly out and back home on our big trip we will have to drive if we want to go see this. I know again Robb doesn’t care about this as much as I do, but its FRIENDS! I have loved this show forever! And this is like a dream come true to get to sit on THAT couch and see all the mementos from the show.   However the drive is looking to be just Robb and I and its 20 hours ONE WAY! So that would be 40 hours in a car to be in NYC, or well Soho for right at 24 hours. Seems just plain crazy right? If we could get 2 more people to go with us, it would cut the price down so much and help break up driving times. All the ones who I thought would want to go with us, are sadly stating that “they just can’t” So it’s up in the air. We COULD still go and we very well might but gosh that is a long time in a car. Getting there would be ok and being there would be so worth it to me but that drive back, I mean coming back home is always the worst. And if we aren’t careful it could be VERY late Sunday that we get in and I have to work that Monday. Also I am so old I would be so just zonked out at work, which wouldn’t be good. I don’t know what we should do verses what I want to do. I do know that if it wasn’t for Robb this wouldn’t even be an option so for that I am thankful, I just don’t know what to do. We only have about 14 more days to make up our minds. I guess time will tell…

Just keep swimming

Well this, I don’t even know where to start. I have so many exciting things about to happen and at the same time I have some really hard family struggles going on as well. Nothing with Robb and me but it hurts just the same. If you are a reader of this crazy all over the place blog, please keep my grandma in your prayers and thoughts. She is going through a difficult time which in return breaks my heart. I am super close with my grandma and she has always been the most amazing person in my life, so when she hurts, I tend to hurt. It’s hard to even talk about it without actually saying what exactly is going on but that’s not really something I think should be put into a “blog”.  I will say we found out yesterday that the family dog, Diego, has cancer. They said he will have about 3 months. So it’s going to be a long sad road ahead for us when it comes to this. We have had him for 10 years. I am not even sure I can even imagine life without him at grandma’s house.  We used to always worry so much about what would happen to grandpa if something happened to Diego, and then when we suddenly lost grandpa we were all in shock.  It’s silly to think but I personally feel like Diego is the last connection we have to grandpa. There are just so many reason I hate that this happening.  I don’t think I can even put into words the sadness I feel with this news. I am just going to do my best to be here for grandma 100%.

The better more exciting news is that we have made some pretty exciting purchases in the last week or so. First of all Robb got us tickets to go see the Denver Broncos IN DENVER! I am so excited about this, like bucket item excited. The game isn’t until November 23rd but it’s always fun to have something to look forward to.  I am also working on Tony who is working on grandma to get them to go out to Denver with us. I know Tony is in.

Also last night/yesterday we found out that Michael C. Hall is going to be taking over the lead in a Broadway in NYC right as we will be there. We had been looking for one that we could both agree on and that we wanted to see so this news came at the perfect time. So we purchased out tickets for that last night in addition to getting tickets to see Boyce Avenue in Concert the day before. Our NYC trip is going to be amazing. That isn’t happening until the end of October but I am very much looking forward to getting to see New York in the fall and get to take our time and enjoy the strolls through the city.

My birthday weekend is coming up as well. We already have that packed. The Friday before I am going to get the tattoo on my wrist covered up, I am not exactly sure what we will change it to but it will be so nice to COMPLETELY close that chapter of my life.  Then Saturday we are going to The Pink House with Chris and Leah to do this “Haunted Dinner”. Finally on Sunday, my actual birthday we plan to go have dinner at Bonefish Grill and then have a watch party for The Walking Dead. I am keeping my fingers crossed we have the new floors in by then and our home put back together.

I know for a fact I wouldn’t be able to do or go to any of these amazing things if it weren’t for my sweet husband and my mom being at our house to watch our babies, I am so thankful for the life I have now and the wonderful people who are in it. I am thankful for this chance to get so much closer to my mom than I ever have. If I didn’t have such an awful “dad” I wouldn’t know or appreciate the wonderful people in my life, so I am doing my best to try and look at it that way. You can’t have a rainbow without the storm.  With so many great things coming up it’s hard to stay sad. Much love to all.

#TVDDALLAS

Well it has officially been a month now, and I have still yet to blog about this. I guess today is as good as any other day. Plus my husband is demanding a nap so I have a little bit of time on my hands until the Broncos 1st game tonight. I will do my best to recap day by day. Lets get started shall we?

Thursday August 7th
After what seemed like the longest work day ever Carissa came to pick me up and we were off. After mom gave us the "stay together" talk because we are apparently 12 again. We talking about all the things we were so excited about and I don't think we even stopped once on the way, we were just to pumped to get to the hotel. We also neglected to eat on the way as well so we were starving once we arrived. We checked in, found a great parking spot ( that we later found out we would still have to pay for even though we were staying at that hotel) and carried our luggage in and up to our room. We were able to register that night so we had some down time. We were staring and everything in the hotel food wise was closed for the night other than the room service after hours stuff. So we ordered a pizza from Simple Simon's (I think) to be delivered and some really really great ice-cream and brownie dessert from room service.
Carissa with our very late dinner in the Hotel.
After we inhaled our food we went to bed. I was having such a hard time falling asleep and then it seemed once I finally did, the alarm went off on the clock in the room. Not loud enough to wake you up but enough to where it sounded like a ghost was talking because it was so unclear. I woke Carrisa up after I thoroughly freak myself out. We found the noise and went back to bed.

Friday August 8th
We had to be down stairs to register by 9:30 so we were up at about 6:30 am to shower and get ready. I got up first and got in the shower, then while I was blow drying my hair Carissa got in. I helped her with her hair and make up so I ran out of time to get mine curled. We wanted to be towards the front of the line because of all the changes that were made and we wanted to make sure we were able to get all the refunds/exchanges made and look into getting a meet and greet done. The line was taking forever but it was for the better because they were taking care of everything at one time. This way we wouldn't have to stand in another line to do all the switching out. We got most of it taken care of then realized I messed up what we wanted a bit so Carrisa took over so I could go get my hair curled. Once she was done she came back up to the room and I was almost ready.
Just before we went down to the 1st panel
We were able to get into the "theater" at 11:45 and Paul Telfer was the first guest.

A few fun things from his panel:
  • He originally auditioned for the role of Klaus
  • He thought most of the effects would be added in later, such as the fire only to learn that they were really setting people and things on fire. When he had to do the scene where he was raising the sword from the fire some of the lighter fluid got on his arm and he had to continue acting while his arm was on fire.
  • He said his first day on set was so amazing he was kissing and rolling around with Clair Holt all day only to be punished the next day by being staked by Joseph Morgan and held up on a small make shift bicycle seat for hours.
  • Someone in the audience asked him if there was ever any confusion on set between him and Paul Wesley and he said " Ohh Bless You, no"
  • He lived in London with 4 roommates at one time and it was full of roaches and slugs to the point of he would look up before he would turn the lights on so he wouldn't have to see them all scatter at the light.
  • Currently filming a scary movie called "Hush" but it may be changed later.
Carissa and I had said before we saw him that we did NOT want to get a photo op with him, but then once his time was up we both looked at each other and we just knew we were going to, so we ran out and purchased his photo op right then and there. He was just too adorable for words and so sweet.

Following Paul was Micah Parker. We saw him last year and stuck to the whole we are not getting a photo op with him so I don't have one to post of us with him but here is a pic from his panel.
He is pointing at Carissa here to get her question!
  • His favorite cast mate to work with during TVD was Joseph Morgan
  • He still keeps in touch with Michael Trevino
  • He is currently filming a scary movie in which he is the serial killer
  • If he wasn't an actor he would have been a professional golf player
  • He loves being able to play the bad guy
Right after Micah's time we had to go get in line for the photo with Paul Telfer and then it was back to the theater for Todd Stashwick's time followed by the photo op with him.
Todd Stashwick and us
  • Todd said if The Original's was real he would not be living in New Orleans.
  • Someone asked him if he could be any supernatural being and he said "A Hybrid because he gets great gas mileage"
  • If he could be any comic book character he would be Batman.
  • He is currently working on wiring a Star Wars video game
  • When he was in wardrobe for Father Kieran, he had said he needed something to wear around his neck. So the key he wore ended up being written into the story because of that.
  • He looked at his role as an Uncle not as a priest
  • If he wasn't an actor he would have been a comedian, he was up for SNL in 1995 and he was also on Second City for a time.
  • Craziest fan moment: He wrote " keep the faith" on one of his autographs and it was sloppy so the fan thought it said " Keep your fat ass" so the fan then went to one of the handles who then had to talk to him about it and he was like "NOOOO Ohh My Gawd could you imagine?" ( this was so funny when he was telling the story we were all laughing.)
Following Todd was a intermission, so we went to grab some food, we ended up sharing because it was so expensive and then Chase Coleman went on at 3:45 pm followed by his line for the photo op. I think he was Carissa's Favorite "B" character.
Chase Coleman
  • when a fan asked him how he memorized his lines he said " I don't memorize them I learn them, I believe there is a difference"
  • He would love to travel overseas (who wouldn't?)
  • When asked who his favorite person to work with us he said he can't pick just one he loves them all for different reasons
  • Most of his favorite scenes were cut but we will get to see them in the deleted scenes on the DVD.
  • He is very optimistic and thinks about every question before he answers.
Then it was time for us to get the autographs we had purchased or which ever ones were included in the Gold package. After that we put on jeans and t-shirts and walked over to Benhani for dinner, which was outstanding considering we hadn't had much time to eat all day. Then we went back up to our rooms to grab a few things and it was time for the Friday Night Karaoke Party. All three guests from the day were there and sang all night long. It was a blast to watch and SOOOO many selfies and videos were taken, We even got one, Todd took Carissa's phone and snapped this pic for us.

We were so tired at this point, I think we called it a night shortly after. Just writing about it all is making me excited and tired all over again. Here are some photos from the panels that day:

Saturday August 9th

This was a big day. Last year Paul Wesley had to cancel due to filming so this would be the first time we were going to get to see him. So again up super early to get ready and get down to the theater on time. Only to sadly find out that Paul was stuck at the airport and wouldn't be here in time for the "Special 1/2 hour Paul and Ian Gold Only Panel" So at 9:30 am we started with Ian Somerhalder. Which lets be honest isn't a bad thing, we were just pretty bummed we were doing to get to see Paul, again.
My 1st Photo with Ian
I got a bit more brave on this one :)

Ian came out and did his 30 mins with the "Gold Only" group. Here are a few of the things we learned during his time up.
  • His Motto is " Breathe, Smile, Repeat"
  • To help him relieve stress he likes to exercise and use meditation.
  • He doesn't understand how people have the time to be so negative
  • An Amber Alert kept going off and he said "Is that another damn Amber Alert, I hope they find em"
Right after Ian's Panel we all ran to line up for the Paul Wesley solo photo op, not even knowing if he was here yet or not, but you know better safe than sorry. The line was so long that we missed the 11:10 am panel with Paul Telfer, luckily we got to see him yesterday so we were to upset about that. Then as soon as we got this photo it was time to get into the next photo line which was for the Ian and Paul "Sandwich". I am a nut and bought two of those because I just KNEW I wouldn't like one of them and I so badly wanted to get a great one. Carissa and I said this was the last TVD Convention we were going to go to so we went pretty big. So we snapped those photos, and Ian kissed my head and said " Thanks Beautiful" when I was walking away. Which is why I got brave enough to ask him if I could kiss his cheek on my single photo with him. After we got these taken, it was then time to get in line for the single Ian photos. Carissa had bought two but we met this super sweet girl who was sitting next to us and she ended up giving her second photo to her. Her name was Taylor and we actually became pretty good friends with her. We kind of took her under our wing and she stayed with us for the rest of the convention and her and her mom provided us with lunch for two of the 3 days we were there. After all the crazy lines from this was over it was time to get back in the theater to see Phoebe Tonkin.

Phoebe Tonkin
  • One of the first questions asked was about if she flew here with Paul and she was so cute about it, she didn't say yes but she said the color of her face should answer that for you.
  • She loved playing a mermaid on H2O, she wasn't a great swimmer when she started that show but she is now.
  • Mrs. Doubtfire is one of her favorite movies
  • She wasn't very ambitious as a kid, she kind of tried everything and acting was what stuck
  • She is still best friends with her cast from Secret Circle.
  • Her favorite scenes to film are the group ones
  • She said during the make out scene with Joseph Morgan after they yelled cut he dropped her on the floor. So when she was later asked who was the better kisser between Joseph and Daniel Gillies she said " Well Daniel didn't drop me" She has also had a bit more experience with Daniel.
  • She was talking about how her character Hayley is kind of a badass and she currently looks like a babysitter
  • She said an american accent is easier to pull off when she is around a bunch of Americans.
  • She was unaware that Hayley would be pregnant before she read the pilot
  • She says " You listen to Nina, If Nina says you're going to dinner  then YOU"RE going to dinner"
  • To prepare for being a mother she watched a lot of videos of women giving birth.
  • fan asked which team she is on, and said " umm can I pick someone else" Fan: "Matt" Phoebe: "Sure"
  • She thinks "it's really nice" about how girls gawk over Paul.
  • She would bring Candice Accola over to The Originals as a permanent cast member if she could.
  • She is team Klaroline. " I didn't mean to like come in and ruin this relationship" "They are really sweet"
  • If she could be another character she would want to be Katherine Pierce.
After she stepped off stage it was time for everyone to get to see Paul and Ian on stage. We got a full hour of these two boys goofing off and joking with each-other.

See what I mean, I love that second one so much better. So here are some of the funny thing said and that we learned during their panel together.
  • The bed that we see on the show for Damon is a custom made bed, its pretty much two California Kings put together.
  • The longest running joke the boys have is talking in a Borat voice, they aren't sure why they still do that but they laugh every time.
  • Paul said his craziest fan moment was when a lady asked him to sign her baby's head while Ian's was when a lady at Comic-Con dressed as superwoman picked him up by his throat and kissed him.
  • Ian is passionate about the planet and animals while Paul is more towards film and cinema arts.
  • Paul said " I've got your back" to Ian so Ian said " what about my front?" Paul followed with "I've had that for 6 years- lets mix it up"
  • Someone asked if they had a bucket list, Paul wasn't sure what that was and Ian said " I am only 35 I have no bucket list I am still living" Paul said his number 1 item would be directing a feature film.
  • When they came on stage Ian came out first and was joking how Paul is being attacked by the chairs and putting on a speedo for everyone, so when Paul did walk out on stage he came out saying " I was fixing my hair!!"
  • Ian makes a joke that he has a glow in the dark poster of Paul above his bed. They make fun of the posters on the wall in the theater, Paul asked Ian " why do you look constipated in your picture?"
  • Ian talking about Paul " See what I have to deal with people?"
  • Fan to Paul " Take your shirt off" Paul: "Give me a minute"
  • Paul: in borat voice "don't come a knockin'. I'm a making love to myself" about how Stefan has become asexual.
  • Paul says Ian's exercise regiment is: eat, sleep, SEXY TIME.
  • The "blood" they drink taste like Cherry Pomegranate
  • Ian says, " I ride my horse in the middle of the day" Paul says " her refers to me as a horse." Paul then impersonates a horse.
  • Paul calls dibs on getting Damon's bed when the show ends. Ian wants Stefan's entire room.
  • A fan asks " Who has made you the most start struck?" Ian: " Paul Wesley"
After this hour we starting to get some of the autographs for the day, and somewhere between this and the Masquerade ball, they made time for the gold ticket holds to get 30 mins with just Paul Wesley to make up for him not being there for the morning one he missed. This was so cool of them to do and really help lift everyone's spirits. We had been pretty sad we were missing that time with him two years in a row.

  • Paul will be directing another episode (e10) in Season 6.
  • He cleared up that he is called in 40 minuets before he is to shoot his scene while Ian is called in over an hour before his shooting time when asked about how long it takes to do his hair.
  • He doesn't watch a whole lot of TV but he is a fan of Six Feet under and South Park
  • A fan asked him to Play Kiss, Marry Kill and his answer was Kiss Elena, Kill Bonnie and Marry Caroline
  • He would play Hockey if he wasn't an Actor.
  • He would describe his style as simple, classic and easy, he doesn't want to look back and see pictures and think what was I thinking wearing that.
  • He said "I'm amnesia Stefan in real life" he was having a hard time remember a lot of things.
  • A fan asked him why he never smiles in his pictures and he stood up and said " What are you talking about I always smile" then walked over to one of the banners and said " look no one is smiling in there, well this guy (points at Todd)" (Carissa and I even asked him to "Smile WITH your teeth please" and he said "sure, yeah" and as you can tell no teeth are shown lol but hey we got smirk)
After all the photo ops and autographs and panels were done for Saturday, we called in a to-go order of chicken fried rice to share from the same place we ate Friday night. As were walking over to get our food Carissa spotted Paul Telfer outside, so she had us go over and say hi, he also asked us if we wanted to take a picture with him so we did.

He was super sweet and said he was a bit nervous about the ball later that evening. About that time the handler came out and told him he had to go back inside and he thanked us for stopping to talk for a bet and went back in. We got our food, and some to-go drink and didn't even get back up to our room before we decided we wanted to eat. We ended up eating on the little couches where we had been having breakfast on the fist floor. After dinner we were lazy for a bit grabbed our photos with Chris the photographer and Bob (Ian's older brother) they are both so incredibly sweet and then went to the ball.

Last year we went all out, this year we just went to people watch. Everyone was all dressed up and here we were rocking jeans and  t-shirt. We could have cared less. We did sit with Taylor and her mom. We got one drink, and then at midnight called it a night.

Here are a few photos from the Panel of Saturday:

This is where he is pointing out who isn't smiling

Sunday was the final day of  the convention, so we had packed up last night and our first priority for the morning was to get everything that we didn't need ON us to the car so we wouldn't have to worry about it. After that we got breakfast, met up with Taylor and went into the theater. Arielle Kebble had canceled the day before so they had Leah Pipes in as the replacement. I was pretty excited about this because one we did get to see Arielle last year and two she was someone new. Once her panel started I pretty much went into fangirl mode. I had NO idea she was in so many things I liked. So I was pretty stoked to get the pic with her.

  • When she knew she got the part for research she watched all of TVD and is now as hooked as we all are.
  • She said the atmosphere on the set is fun and they all laugh a lot.
  • If her character wasn't human she would want to be a witch because she would only have to learn a few french words and get to wear really cute clothes... the werewolf has too much makeup time and the vampire have to vamp out and get red dots all over their faces.
  • She thought Cami was just going to be that girl who does everything Klaus says because of his compulsion, she was so wrong and loves her story line, she wouldn't change anything about it.
  • When she was little she was able to cry on cue to get her way, and that's when she thought she would be good at acting, she said she thinks she is just always on the verge of tears.
  • Her first job was an oreo commercial and that was the first time she ever felt special and confident so she knew she had found her calling.
  • She was on Angle as a guest start when she was little and she stole a piece of gum from his gum packet.
  • She was my favorite character in the movie Sorority Row, which I had not placed her in until she started taking about it. So when I was in the autograph line for her I told her how that was one of my husband and I's first movies together and how much I loved her role in that and she said " Ohh did it work, well you're married I guess it did"

Next was Rick Cosnett, who I think was my favorite of the boys. He was so charming and his accent was so beautiful.
He is so pretty!
  • I cant remember what the question was but Rick said" Good questions, you know in Brazil they just say "You're Hot!" here you all have really good questions." Later on an older lady came up and said "I don't have a question but YOUR HOT!" he then said " Thank you I was fishing"
  • He says Dr. Wes thinks vampires are "pesky little creatures"
  • He thinks Caroline and Wes could have had a good relationship or Wes and Katherine would have been a good power house, "Ohh I had dreams"
  • One of his funnest moments was when Candice realized that he was Australian becuse he had only spoke american around her on set.
  • He was most excited to work with Ian
  • He is currently filming in Vancouver for The Flash
  • He loves to play Tennis
  • He asked everyone their name who came up to ask a question and then said thank you to them after he answered.
  • He read for Marcel on The Originals
  • He can transition in and out of any accent perfectly
  • When someone asked him if he felt bad for his characters evil actions...." No. I don't actually!"
  • He talked about enjoying the movie Lucy
  • At the end of his panel someone asked him to sing and he stalled for awhile and then asked her up to the stage and sang Wind Beneath my Wings to her. It was so sweet!
After his panel we had a few photo ops to get in line for and we had a bit of a break and then at 11:05 it was time for Michael Malarkey to go on stage. This guy just oozes cool. He has a very Johnny Depp vibe about him.

  • When asked what was the funniest scene he has filmed he said the one where they are in the vision house talking to Damon about the Stefan and Elena vision sex, because he goes to play hit him joking around and he ends up smacking him in the nuts.
  • He said we will see some Enzo and Caroline moments in season 6
  • During the jail scene with Damon and Enzo, Ian was reaching under the set and tickling his ass to mess with him so he just did it right back to Ian and then Ian said I like this guy.
  • Michael was born in Ohio but moved to London
  • Playing a vampire was on his bucket list
  • He would love to be on Game of Thrones
  • When he was in London he was in a play in which he was Elvis, and afterwards everyone knew he would go and take a shower, One fan asked where the drain to his shower let out so she could be in that water, on the weirdest fan moment.
  • Michael: " How's everyone doing on this fine day?" Audience: "Good" Michael: " Great, I'm going to change that for you and make is miserable"
  • Enzo will "toe the line between good and evil" in season 6
  • When he isn't working he likes to work on his music, and has an EP coming out soon.
  • Fan: "If you could be any other character on the show who would it be?" Michael: "Elena so then the should would be about me"
  • If he wasn't an actor he would be " an angry drunk with a few kids in various continents" but really he would be a teacher.
  • Steven McQueen Arrives and runs up to the Mike and asks in a girl voice "I hear you work with Steven McQueen, is he really as dreamy as everyone says he is?" Michael laughs and says " get the hell outta here" then Steven walks behind the screen and uses his shadow to make it look like he is picking his nose and grabbing his chest.

After Michael gets off stage we all go out and line up for a few photo ops, after all those were done we went back in for our last panel of the day, Zach Roreg, Michael Trevino and Steven McQueen.

This is my favorite Picture! I <3 Zach.

  • Michael Trevino says its his first time in Dallas, and he is puzzled by how big the conventions are and how we are what makes them so awesome.
  • Michael says the only bad thing about filming a serious scene with Steven and Zach is when they fart because its a lot.
  • Steven " Hey! Good Morning!"  Michael " Morning? its 1:30"
  • Michael says his biggest influence is his hard working grandfather.
  • Zach stole Stevens lunch and Michael just sat and laughed about it.
  • A fan said they were ugly and Zach said to her" Are you kidding me? You've got the most kissable lips I've seen in days"
  • A fan Asks if they are paid to be so nice to the fans. Zach says " yeah they pay me I cant stand you, I'm outta here" then says " I can honestly say that everyone on this cast is very nice"
  • Zach would have loved to have seen Julianne Moore as Esther, He loves red heads.
  • Fan asks Zach what its like to be the only human on the show, and he points out that he isn't anymore because of Tyler.
  • Steven Say Tyler is now a werechihuahua
  • Michaels' favorite line on the show was " I'm not your little bitch anymore"
  • Steven says he gets scared watching The Walking Dead
  • A fan shouts out Pretty Little Liars and Michael says " On mute" on what shows they watch.
  • Zach tells a story about Michael Davis, Steven and he going to the lake and their boat not starting, so they had been stranded on the water for awhile and a family stops to help them pull their boat in. Steven wanted to do something crazy so he jumps in the water after Zach and Michael Daivs repeatedly tell him not to. So then Michael Davis says "He'll learn" so as the boat is pulling them in Steven is hanging on to a rope being pulled through the water then after awhile he is yelling help so they have to get the attention of the rescue boat to get them to stop so they can get "Their dumbass friend" back in the boat. and then Steven says " yeah that wasn't a great idea"
  • They are really good friends off the show as well and take trips together when not filming.
This was Carissa's Idea and he loved it! he said " Man I wish I had my shirt"

After this final panel was over, we had a few more photo ops and then it was time to be called row by row to get the remaining autographs. I did my best to get what I was able to picture wise signed and everything I wasn't able to I had then sign the DVD insert to season 4. Once all the autographs were done Carissa and I just sat outside the photo op room waiting for the rest of our pics to come out and then get any reprints and ones we wanted on a CD. It was such a fun and tiring weekend. We were still pretty excited but starting to get tired of being around so many screaming fan. We at that point were glad it was over and that we would be heading home soon. We also had to get a picture with our new friend Taylor. we exchanged numbers and email addresses and we are also friends on FB now. It was a great weekend, and we were sad to see it be over so fast but man were we ready to get home too.

Here are a few photos from Sundays Panels:

Also we at the last minuet decided to get the meet and greet for Rick and Michael. This was pretty fun! Hopefully Carissa will write about this move because I am done for tonight. Hope you at the very least felt like you were somewhat there with us. We don't currently plan to attend next year.

Until next time XOXO
